Our client, a leading third party fund administrator is looking for a Fund Accounting Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will assist the Manager and Assistant Manager in preparation of regulatory, financial and ad hoc reports and serve as a focal point for client request, resolves problem issues.
You will be responsible for overseeing the work of a group of Fund Accountants and Senior Accountants - the main scope of the role is checking funds.
Your Role:
- Ensure the accurate production of NAVs by accountants before publication
- Assist in training of new employees, and gives feedback of staff appraisals
- Proactive and innovative in approach to work, suggests new ways of working
- Display leadership and guidance to more junior staff, setting an example in both quality of and approach to work
Your Profile:
- A minimum of four 3 relevant work experience, including staff management
- Third level honours degree in an accounting related discipline
- Excellent communication & presentation skills and leadership qualities
- Understands the financial instruments and investment strategies of the funds and also legal and regulatory requirements
